Well, two years have passed and I think the dust has settled with old reviews on this foundation long enough that I can make a new one. Having bought this product a couple of years ago the fact that I am blogging about it now is a good sign. Yes, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua is definitely a great foundation; but at £40 it's not exactly a cheap buy. However, when you consider that you apply foundation to your face every day (or most days anyway), the price seems more and more worth it. Don't be deceived by the bottle size, this foundation does go a long way and I was well over half a year into my foundation before I needed to purchase a new one. My reasoning behind using a high end foundation that may set you back a bit more money is, why would you use anything on your skin on a daily basis that isn't worthy of being worn, well, daily. Surely your skin is worth a bit of luxury?
It contains a primer within the foundation, so always shake the bottle before use for the best results. This means that the foundation lasts a lot longer when worn, and you don't even need to apply much, just a pea sized amount.Back in 2011 everyone was saying this was the number 1 foundation of the year, it was in every beauty gurus favourites videos on YouTube. Two years on it's still a winner for me! If you haven't already tried this fabulous foundation out, then I definitely recommend you try it out and see what all the fuss is about.
